Happy Fall Y'all

Fall is a beautiful time of the year in N.C.
Leaves are beginning to change, temperature is cool in the morning then warm in the afternoon and with Fall comes lots of fun things to do with the family.

My husband and I celebrated 9 wonderful years of marriage this month.  So instead of us going on an exotic vacation or going out to dinner alone-what do we do, but take our girls with us...Of course!!!                                                                                                                         Not only did we take our girls, but we took some great friends, The Richardson's with us also.
We went to one of my most favorite places ever,
MIKE'S TREE FARM.

This is a wonderful family place where the family can enjoy a hay ride to the pumpkin patch, feed some animals, do a little shopping in their country store and eat in their restaurant that has the best food...EVER!!  Food is served family style and they have the best macaroni and cheese on earth.  I may or may not have asked for thirds!!!                                                     This was the Richardson's first time eating and I think they enjoyed it as well.
No doubt we will be back to enjoy some holiday fun & food for Christmas.

Austin Richardson, Bailey & Madison ready for the hay ride!

Lisa Richardson and I posing for a quick pic!  She's my BFF!

Thanks to Lisa for taking a family photo!

Can't you tell their bellies are full of mac-n-cheese!

Fall wouldn't be Fall without some family pumpkin carving!
The girls picked their pumpkins out and with mostly Dad's help got their pumpkins carved.
It was a great afternoon and then we roasted the pumpkin seeds in the oven.  My oldest daughter, Madison loves them.

Like I said, Daddy did most of the work!

Bailey did a great job on this jack-o-lantern.

It's not easy getting these two pretty girls to smile.  They
say I take too many pics.

Happy Fall Y'all!
